UTEP Professor of Engineering donates van to Candlelighters
Ramana Chintalapalle is an Associate Professor of Engineering at UTEP. He and his wife Keerthi Haritha came to the United States from India to further their education.
Keerthi is a graduate student at UTEP majoring in public health.
They have two children, a little two year old boy and a nine year old girl, named Srija, who is a 4 th grader at Polk Elementary.
When the family was ready to purchase a new car, Srija suggested donating their used van to a charity that assists children rather than trading it in.
Mom thought of helping Candlelighters and called the office to make arrangements to transfer their vehicle.
Candlelighters will put this vehicle to good use transporting children, in treatment, to their doctor’s appointments and clinic visits.
Thank you Desert Sun Chiropractic!

Had a nice start to the new year with unanticipated donations by Dr. Michael Ontiveros and his team @ Desert Sun Chiropractic who presented us with a check for $2000 from their fund raising.
